
BACKGROUND
The symposium provides a platform to discuss and share knowledge on current social issues in the world and to introduce new research findings related to scholars with international expertise in the fields of social sciences, education and humanities. Featuring the theme of "Social Science Research Post-Covid-19 Pandemic", the event brings together research academia, policy makers, and professionals to disseminate their innovative ideas, creative designs, experiences and teaching skills.


KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahudin Uno, B.B.A., M.B.A
Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of The Republic of Indonesia
Sandiaga Uno is the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. He is known as a prominent entrepreneur and has been president the director of some big corporates. He served as Vice President of Small and Medium Enterprises at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) from 2009 to 2010, and as chairman of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) from 2005 to 2008. His long-term contribution in business and entrepreneurship has named and awarded him as the Indonesian Entrepreneur in 2008 from non-governmental organization, Enterprise Asia. Sandiaga Uno was appointed as a distinguished research professor in residence at George Washington University.

Assc. Prof. Ferry Jie, Ph. D
School of Business and Law, Edith Cowan University, Australia
Ferry Jie is the Associate Professor in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, in the School of Business and Law. He is currently a Secretary to the Chartered Institute Logistics and Transport (CILTA) Western Australia (WA) Committee. Ferry Jie has maintained a high quality of research throughout his academic career including international scholarly leadership in the areas of supply chain management and logistics, including being invited to be keynote speaker and to give public lectures at symposiums and international conferences in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, UK and Australia. From 2017 to now, published more than 46 refereed journal articles—including 23 articles in Q1-ranked in the SCImago and 22 articles in Q2-ranked in the SCImago, and 8 refereed conference papers.

Subhan Zein, Ph.D
School of Culture, History, and Language The Australian National University
Subhan Zein, Ph.D has recently assumed a lectureship position at Australian National University (ANU). He is the author and lead editor of various English education books. Dr. Zein is Asia TEFL Director of Research Publications and Principal Investigator of the British Council’s English across ASEAN Education Systems Scoping Research (2020-2021). He has recently been named Australia’s Top Researcher in English Language and Literature in 2021. His works have appeared in various internationally acclaimed refereed journals. Dr. Zein taught English at primary and tertiary levels in Indonesia; and for several years he taught English in Australia to a large body of international students, migrants, and refugees coming from 90 countries in various institutions including University of Canberra, Mission Australia, and Trinity College – The University of Melbourne. He has also taught Indonesian at secondary and tertiary institutions in Australia.
CALL FOR PAPERS
Authors are requested to submit an abstract to the organizing committee by November 14, 2021. The abstract must contain the following section: introduction, aim of the study, method, results, conclusion, and keywords. The abstract must have no longer than 200 words. [IMPORTANT] To submit an abstract, authors must create an account. Then they can submit the abstract by logging in to their account. The submitted abstract will be selected for presentation. Full paper can be submitted only after the abstract is accepted. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Letter of Invitation (LoI) can be downloaded directly from your account. Full paper should be written in English and must be between 4 to 6 pages. Accepted papers will be published in internationally-indexed proceedings. Please follow paper template provided on the website.
A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF CONFERENCE REVIEW PROCESS
A group of reviewers with good reputation of international publication are going to be assigned to perform a rigorous reviewing process for the manuscripts of this conference using Konfrenzi Automated Conference System. Prior to the review process, all the reviewers are to be briefed by Prof. Ade Gafar Abdullah on a virtual meeting regarding important points to review including the content, the systematic writing structure, and the language readability of the papers. Each reviewer is going to receive 4 – 5 through the submission system. They are then given two weeks to finish their review process and given a certain amount of incentive once they finish their task. After the deadline, the reviewed manuscripts are sent to the participants (authors) using the system through their personal account. The authors are to be given two weeks to revise their manuscripts and send them back to the committee using their account. Papers whose revision is in accordance with the reviewers’ comments will go into final editing process (paper template layout checking, proofreading, etc.) and those which need further revision will go into the second round of review process. All the manuscripts and other required data are submitted to the publisher after they pass final editing.
